Amsig message signs operate on one of three firmware platforms:Signs manufactured since 2012 are typically equipped with WebbExpress firmware.
WebbExpress (WX):
- Most signs built after 2012
- Browser-based remote access
- OTA capable
Gen Firmware:
- Early NTCIP-compliant models
- Color screen + QWERTY keyboard
Legacy Firmware:
- Most signs were built before 2013
- Operates with a rugged handheld terminal
- Uses Easy Host software
