Gen Product Support

This section provides support documentation for Amsig Gen products, such as our earliest NTCIP-compliant message signs. There are multiple reliable methods of confirming whether your product is running our older Gen firmware:

For local operation you have a color screen and QWERTY keyboard whose default screen display looks like this:

If you use a ruggedized handheld terminal you are likely using Amsig’s current WebbExpress (WX) or older Legacy firmware. Please visit our WX or Legacy support pages.

For remote operation you use a browser (such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome):

If your remote operation occurs through Amsig’s Easy Host software then you are using the Legacy firmware, for which you can find support here. If you use a browser but your screen looks different, then you likely use Amsig’s WX firmware, for which you can find support here.

If you are unable to determine your firmware type, please contact the American Signal Service Department at info@amsig.com or 770.448.6650 ext 3. It is helpful to have your trailer VIN when you contact us.
